Inspired by the classic Serge Modular TKB, this DIY touch-activated keyboard sequencer uses capacitive touch plates to generate control voltages and gates. It can be played as an expressive performance keyboard or configured as a flexible step sequencer. With a strong focus on tactile interaction and patch-based programmability, the module favors open-ended experimentation over fixed sequencing structures. See the TKB MANUAL for in-depth details.
TKB DIY version comes in 3 options
OG KIT - PANEL / CIRCUIT PCB. The OG kit is sold as a hand wired project like the original TKB's.
STANDARD KIT - PANEL / CIRCUIT PCB / POT PCB / LED MOD PCB. Standard kit is a simple kit designed to source your own ribbon & molex cables or to purchase them separately.
DELUXE KIT - PANEL / CIRCUIT PCB / POT PCB / LED MOD PCB / RIBBON CABLES / MOLEX CABLES / MM74C150N IC. Deluxe kit comes with color coded molex cables & color coded ribbon cables. 2.5mm Touch Plate mounting screws included!
